About BTD

Back To Democracy is a group of progressive grassroots volunteers based in Trumansburg, New York. We promote participation in the democratic process, and providing citizens with information needed to understand what's going on in our society. Subjects include peace, social justice, sustainability, and liberation from corporate control.

We hold two meetings per month at the Trumansburg Fire Hall: one on the second Thursday, when we show a documentary film, and one on the last Friday, when we host a speaker. Both meetings start at 7:00 pm. An open discussion follows the event. Meetings are free and open to all.

• reforming the election process
• a healthy environment as a human right
• developing a sustainable way of life
